Summary

Bends metal products based on customer and company requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at anytime)

Ability to set up, and run CNC tube bender with limited supervision

Willing to learn and provide programming assistance as needed

Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, tapes, height gages, check fixtures etc)

Work closely with engineering on determining machine capability for various projects

Install proper tooling, and make recommendations for improvements

Minor machine maintenance

Must have recent CNC tube bending experience. Experience with 3D bends including draw bending

and roll bending

Strong understanding of basic math including decimals, fractions and metric system

Ability to visualize the 3D bend and make recommendations on machine capabilities (what can and cannot be fabricated on the machine)

Able to interpret technical drawings and demonstrate proficiency in following work instructions

Experience working with thin walled tubing
