Active Staffing Services has acquired The OnStaff Group, a major presence in the Midwest staffing industry and the largest staffing company in Southwest Michigan. This acquisition marks a significant step in Active Staffing’s collective journey, bringing together two family businesses with shared values and a commitment to excellence.
With OnStaff USA joining the Active Staffing family, Active Staffing has expanded its reach. It now boasts 15 branches and projects $75 million in revenue for 2024. “This move isn’t just about growth; it’s about enhancing our service quality and strengthening our presence in the national market,” said Benny Elzweig, the CEO of Active Staffing Services, in a recent interview.
Active Staffing, headquartered in New York, now operates 15 branches through this deal and anticipates generating $75 million in revenue for 2024. The company deployed 7,000 W-2 temporary workers in the previous year.
This acquisition is the latest in a series of recent purchases by Active Staffing. Last year, it acquired Normann Staffing Services, a staffing firm based in New Jersey; Phoenix Staffing Inc., a Maryland-based staffing agency; and Pegasus, an industrial staffing provider from Texas. Additionally, Active Staffing invested in Glyde Talent, a platform that automates job postings, facilitates candidate outreach and offers candidate screening services.
