TIG WELDER

Position Overview

TIG Welders perform various tasks to ensure proper welding of metal products. They use tools like Welders, welding rod, clamps, fixtures, etc. to ensure beautiful, strong welds. In addition, welders perform quality control checks and maintain a clean work environment. They are responsible for ensuring that the final product meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Expertly welds small, medium, and large parts using different techniques as required.
Works closely with the Engineering team on product development on print specifications.
Works with the Quality team to understand and adhere to quality standards.
Communicate and collaborate with other departments to enable the highest level of success for the whole production team.
Keep the welding area clean and organized, regularly complete 5S objectives within the department to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

1+ years Tig Welding experience.
Attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read and understand weld and build prints from engineering.
Good communication skills and the ability to share information across functions.
Ability to work with pneumatic and battery powered tools.

Mechanical and technical skills.

Ability to problem solve and understand labels and written instructions.
Lifting requirements up to 25lbs, must be able to bend, twist and reach.

Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
