BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Changes injection machine die molds, robotic tooling, injection machine programs, and robotic programs efficiently and safely
- Verify standard condition is met and complete setup verifications to ensure machine changeovers are completed per established requirements
- Preferred knowledge of Meiki, JSW, Ube, Mitsubishi, and Krauss Maffie molding machines in the range of 180 to 1600 ton
- Understanding of three and six- axis robotic programming such that positions can be modified as required
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for any production-related problems (e.g. machine breakdowns, scheduling problems, etc.)
- Perform minor adjustments to molding machines as needed to regulate pressure, temperature, speed, and feed rates as needed to produce an acceptable molded product
- Performs other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of immediate supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years of previous molding technician experience
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Effective communication skills
OPTIONAL/PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Two (2) years in an automotive quality position
- Preferred knowledge of Yushin and Star Robots
