We are currently hiring a Quality Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for leading a quality-driven production team, ensuring parts meet customer specifications, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be actively involved on the floor—supporting operators, performing inspections, and driving quality performance.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and support a team of manufacturing associates with a focus on quality and performance
-Perform quality inspections, audits, and measurements using various tools and techniques
-Monitor and manage scrap levels and quality metrics
-Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and inspection plans
-Communicate effectively during shift changes to maintain quality continuity
-Train new and existing employees on quality standards and processes
-Respond quickly to quality issues and implement corrective actions
-Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and production tracking (Mattec)
-Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
-Support production by assisting operators and ensuring materials/tools are available
Qualifications
-1–3 years of plastics or manufacturing experience preferred
-Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred
-Experience with quality inspections, measurements, and manufacturing processes
-Strong understanding of injection molding or similar production environments is a plus
